The Center is A Gathering Place!

The Center partners with a wide variety of community organizations to deliver high-quality, public programming activities and events.

Thought-provoking Community Activities
Celebrate the north woods' nature, culture, and history! The Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center hosts community-based environmental learning programs dedicated to exploring the Region's natural, cultural, and historic resources through recreation, discussion, display, and field study. Choose from a diversity of experiential learning opportunities. Programs are free; public invited.
All ages enjoy learning opportunities at the Center.
